Who is Old Yale Brewing?
Old Yale Brewing is thrilled to announce the opening of our third location in Beaumont, Alberta! This 11,000 sq ft, 400-seat Craft Brewery + Kitchen will feature a brand-new 7.5-hectoliter brewery, 3 patios, 20 beers on tap, plus a selection of wine, cider, and cocktails.
With this exciting expansion, we're looking for Hosts to join Team OYB and play a key role in preparing for our grand opening! The Tasting Room Host will primarily be responsible for greeting and welcoming customers to Old Yale Brewing. The individual will oversee seating arrangements for seating on the inside and the patio, respond to phone calls from customers with inquiries, oversee reservations, tidy tables when customers have left, and additionally maintain the OYB Merch and Cold Beer when it comes to customers purchasing items.
Responsibilities:
+ Welcome customers to the restaurant; engage in friendly conversations and build relationships with new and returning customers.
+ Guide customers to tables, manage reservations, and communicate with Servers when a new party has arrived.
+ Assist Servers in delivering drinks and food to customers, cleaning and resetting tables.
+ Oversee and manage beer sales from our OYB Merch and Cold Beer Cooler.
+ Perform various duties such as:
o Ensuring tables are ready for seating.
o Monitoring overall restaurant activity.
o Inspecting menus for cleanliness.
o Assisting Servers and Kitchen staff when necessary.

Compensation
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
