Old Yale Brewing Abbotsford is seeking some passionate and enthusiastic individuals to contribute their talent to our awesome kitchen team as a Line Cook!
No experience? No problem! We believe in nurturing talent and providing all the training to help you succeed in the role. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or have a culinary interest to kickstart your career, we welcome all skill levels!
HOURS OF WORK:
- Primary need is for weekends.
- Hours consist of afternoon/evening shifts.
- Flexibility is always great.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing and cooking all menu items by kitchen and brand standards.
- Providing assistance stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line.
- Food preparation and portioning prior to service.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Following and achieving closing routines.
- Maintaining all health and food sanitation standards in accordance with Old Yale Brewing safe food handling practices and Fraser Health protection standards.
- Maintain high level of food quality.
- Putting bulk food orders away in a neat and organized fashion.
- Roll up your sleeves and do what’s necessary to get the job done and completes other duties as required within the same scope and level.

Compensation
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
