The Bartender will ultimately be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food, additionally taking any food orders by customers sitting at the bar.
Responsibilities:
- Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to menu specifications.
- Providing information on menu items and guiding customers through drink options.
- Taking orders and ensuring guests feel cared for during their time at Old Yale Brewing.
- Operating point of sale terminals and providing bills to customers.
- Monitoring bar inventory and ordering supplies and ingredients when needed.
- Ensuring compliance with provincial liquor laws.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to going above and beyond.
- High energy and performance-driven with a strong desire for continuous improvement; able to work effectively in a team environment.
- ProServe certification is preferred; must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Proven ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexible, Dependable, and dedicated.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Compensation
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
